with their co-founder,
they deal with it”
Welcome to Red Tree
Are you an ambitious entrepreneur whose business is stuck in endless quarrels with your co-founder?
Evangelos works with start-uppers as well as seasoned co-founders to address tensions between them and take their business to the next level.
He brings over twenty years of hands-on experience as an entrepreneur, mediator, and psychotherapist.
“Evangelos switches seamlessly from strategic thinking to understanding our emotions, and that’s very reassuring”
“Evangelos switches seamlessly from strategic thinking to understanding our emotions, and that’s very reassuring”
Evangelos has firsthand experience of what it feels like to be in the founder’s hot seat. Since 1999, he has co-founded or participated in over 20 ventures across industries and continents. Some have thrived and outlived his involvement; others have flopped.
He brings a deep understanding of things like shareholder agreements, valuation models, MVPs, GTM strategies, and exit negotiations, which he incorporates into your work when necessary.
He still loves to launch a new business venture for the joy of partnering with amazing people and growing together.
“We achieved so much more than resolving our disagreements. We regained the oomph to build things together!”
“We achieved so much more than resolving our disagreements. We regained the oomph to build things together!”
So you’ve tried it all: therapists to understand your childhood, coaches to set common objectives, and lawyers to find a compromise. Maybe you got temporary relief, but the excitement of conquering the world feels forever lost.
Evangelos knows the pitfalls of “professional help”: getting the right communication tools without a shared vision, resolving surface disputes without a plan to scale, and setting common objectives without a realistic path to get there.
Evangelos doesn’t stop at effective communication and conflict resolution. He actually helps co-founders recover their passion for growing their business. Together.
“I thought our fights were about the business; in fact, it was all about our emotions…”
“I thought our fights were about the business; in fact, it was all about our emotions…”
Most co-founder squabbles are not about the topic of their disagreement. For example, an argument over the allocation of stock options is more about you feeling valued and less about the value of your shares.
Evangelos is a licensed couples therapist and group facilitator. His role is to help you recognize the unspoken partnership dynamics and address them so you can move from pointless squabbling to effective decision-making.
Unlike other therapists, he understands the pressures of entrepreneurship and business. His interventions are short and to the point, so you can go back to growing the business.
